Now the largest UK lottery syndicate in the UK, the Virtual World Direct (VWD) eLottery Syndicate provides 88 lines per week on the UK Lotto for £5.
In fact, it is really a collection of syndicates as every 49 members are a group with their own set of numbers for each UK Lotto main draw.

Each group is allocated a unique set of 5 numbers - which together with every possible 6th number - are entered into every Wednesday and Saturday draw. The result is 88 chances of winning per week, and if you match your 5 you hit the jackpot. The 6th ball is guaranteed.

It is not the cheapest UK Lotto syndicate, but as Virtual World Direct is professionally and reliably run, this is to be expected.
The overheads of staff and premises are always going to cost more than 'Bob in Accounts with his Excel lottery spreadsheet' (although you can do some pretty nifty things with a lottery spreadsheet!)

But at £5 per week (paid monthly in advance), this is set at a reasonable level - only marginally more than the average individual weekly lotto spend.
There is also a £4-99 per year membership fee which is fine. You might frown initially, as we did, about the one-off £20 for your 'Reserve Fund'.

But it turns out this is only to ensure that you never miss an entry, or miss out on an entry that should have been funded by your fellow syndicate members! So should your monthly payment arrive late for any reason, nobody has to panic.
As I said, we frowned initially, but now feel rather comforted by the idea. Bottom line is, £44-99 up front then £20 per month (minus winnings of course!) from 1 month later.

We are members of this one (well, it is currently the best!) and have received 66 wins so far in 80 weeks!
That's not a bad rate - I can't remember the last time a friends 'pound a week' office syndicate managed even a £10 prize.

The biggest eLottery Syndicate win to date is £139,380.00 which was reported in the Daily Mail.

It is very reassuring to see Virtual World Direct are happy to publicly list the number of groups running, as well as the number and amounts of winnings.
There is no attempt to conceal success rates.

All of the eLottery Syndicate facilities are available online through Members Accounts, and emails are sent shortly after every draw to tell you when you win (picking up email on Wednesday and Saturday has become much more interesting as a result!).
